"We have seen some cases of shipping damage to the roaster that are like that in the photo shown above. What happens is that when UPS throws the roaster out of a plane, it momentarily distorts the metal enough so that the rubber gaskets no longer seat properly."
The above is a quote from the SonoFresco website, the makers of the coffee roaster we use at R. Gabriels. I wonder, at what altitudes is UPS throwing these roasters from their planes?
