Cars, cars, cars...
So the crankshaft pulley came off the crankshaft last night. This is a part that apparently not many places can order and the places that can order it want nearly $200 for the part. This is also a part that is apparently hard to get on and off the car.
So I'm pretty much considering the car dead.
So I need a new one.
Now, my grandmother has told me she will lend me some money to get a car if I need, so that makes things a bit easier. But it's also hard to find a car around here that is worth buying. I'd like a Honda, Toyota, or Nissan, 94 or newer, with less than 130k on it. I'd also like to spend less than $4500.
Anyway, I'm going to look at a 96 Altima with 82k on it for $4200, but that price is higher than the bluebook value by a good bit so I'll have to see what kind of deal I can strike if it looks like as good a car as it sounds like.
Cars... Oi.
