Tonight was the first full run-through of Les contes d'Hoffman. It went fairly well. There are still a couple or three places where I just don't have the words down, though. I know them in my head but my lips will not cooporate with the French.
Tomorrow we don't rehearse. I work. Sunday we get to be in the space for the first time with the full set, costumes, and props. That will be good, if difficult. It's going to be hard to get used to the raked (slanted) stage (going from about 4" off the stage at the front to around 4' off the stage in the back) and of course working with the costumes. Every night henceforth sans Thursday we will rehearse, until the performances on Friday and Saturday nights.
