screw it! I've been taping the new SG-1 and Atlantis so a) I can watch them and not have to worry about being there when they are on, and b) I'm sending them to Sara because she doesn't have cable anymore.
Well, my TV is stupid and decided to turn it's auto clock set back on sometime recently and the auto time in the area is off by an hour, so I only got Atlantis tonight. Blast. And tonight's SG-1 was sort of important to the plot. Blast.

Jekyll Island
Greetings from the Isle of Jekyll! Got here last night about 5pm and said farewell to Becca who was leaving as I got here. Visiting our friends Jason and Jennifer (Jason's lovely bride) who are here for Jennifer's internship durring the summer.
Last night we went to eat at a local place on St. Simon's Island and then Jason and I went to look for ghosts at the house that Jennifer and the other interns are restoring.
Today we have gone to eat at another place (with amazing she-crab soup) and then I got a double cafe macchiato which had so much foam on it it was more like a strong cappuccino. Oh well, the espresso wasn't bad. Took the Jason and the Jennifer to Walmart and Staples afterward (they do not have a car and these stores are not on Jekyll Island) and then we went to a gift shop on Jekyll Island so they could get Oceanopoloy.
Tonight we might be going to the beach (that becca fell in the water on) and we will be playing Oceanopoly.
Gato the rat is sweet and is currently having fun tearing up her newspaper. I want a pet rat.
No one nearby has wifi as I had hoped, so I can't get online with my laptop. That would have been nifty.
I shall be departing at some time tomorrow -- probably after looking for manatees and such. I'm enjoying myself. Just wish my favourite camera was not borken so that I could have brought it with me and taken pics. I also wish I'd had some infrared film for the ghost hunt last night.
