I bought a new toy today! It's something I've been wanting to buy for a while, since I don't have highspeed internet but have access to it at work and at my parents' house (and my sister's house, etc). I got a usb flash memory module. It's one of those little things you can put on your keychain.

I had been planning on getting a 256 or 512meg module and after getting the $20 in gift cards for Circuit City from Great Fun for the one month membership I signed up for $1 as my offer for Notebooks4free I made my way over to our local Circuit City. I looked at the modules they had and had about convinced myself to go with the Scandisk brand 512 stick, but I was curious as to the price for the Memorex 1 gig model which had no posted price. Well, it was $89, cheaper than the Scandisk one, and had a $30 mail in rebate. So that means I'd get it for $40, cheaper than the 512meg models and about the same price as the 265meg ones.

So I now have a 1gig Memorex USB flash memory device. It's great! I'm such a nerd.




Also you can see that I have more things on my keychain than anyone should have. My RAM fell off and I need to get another chain so I can put it back on, even though I now have tons more static RAM on there. :)
