THis week is over
Thank goodness
It was long
It was hard
It was bad
with a few bright spots
I'm glad to see it go
Tomorow I'm going to books-a-million for their sell
Maybe that will cheer me up
Watching Harry Potter and eating spinach queche my sister cooked cheered me up some too, as did the soup this afternoon.
and the $25 I made.
But I'm glad the week is over and next week is a new one.
Yay for money! I made $25 this afternoon for an hours not so hard work. A lady needed to use our sound system for an event she is doing (our portable one, 'our' being the school of music) and she got me to get the stuff and load it in her suv and set it up at the convention center. So I pulled the stuff and did that, took just at an hour, and that included the drive to the place and the bit of time for her to decide where to put it, so I was only working for maybe a half hour of actualy doing something, and she paid me $25! Good stuff eh.
Oh, and I think I'll just have the tooth removed, I can't see paying $600 for a procedure that'll give me probably just as much recovery pain. The tooth is in the very back so I dont think I'll miss it too much.
I'm still scared.
Oh, the dentist drilled a little to see if maybe it was just looking bigger on the xray than it was and then put a temp filling in, something, either the topical antistetic (sp?) or the filling he used, tasted like cloves and was yummy, I can still taste it even over my bowl of potato and bacon soup and a little over my bowl of chicken fajita soup (yes, I couldn't decide what soup I wanted at schlotsky's and I got both, mmmmmm goodness mmmmmmmm soup, mmmmmm weather you can actualy eat soup in without paying a $200 electric bill for air conditioning :)
So... went to the dentist today....
I have a major cavity in my tooth almost to the center.
Answer to the problem? Root canal ($600) or pull the tooth ($70)
Oh boy, both sound like such fun and exciting prospects.....
I don't want this...........

Weather, Weather, Weather!
Well, last ngiht it was in the upper 70s and raining, today it's in the lower 40s and will drop below freezing in the night.
Gotta love mississippi!
Well, I went to class early today, 7:30, my prof said I could come in and print my pic then that he would have a cable for me to get it off the camera. So, against all of nick's body's protests, he got up and was there at 7:30 and true to his word, the prof had the cable and nick was able to print the picture out and then mounted it immediatly after class. yay!
So, nice cool weather, photography project completed, acting class got out early so I had time to actualy EAT, got my paycheck, crv check, and refund check today and put over $700 into the bank, what a nice feeling.
Today is better than the rest of the week has been!
This evening at 5 carpenter's wood sings in the cool weather, at 7 my friend beth is giving her piano recital, then I'll come home and clean house.

a list of things nick hates:
Driving in heavy rain
large trucks in heavy rain
The mist large trucks throw in heavy rain
Truckers who speed up when you try to pass them
People with mis-adjusted headlights that sine in my rearview mirror - you need to be shot
Being an idiot and losing parts of cameras on loan from the school
Not being able to break my nose properly
Fillings that come out
being tired
Garlic breath :)
Things nick likes:
Clean and clear, gets that makeup right off
Zataran's Garlic Butter Rice with Mushrooms (though it gives garlic breath)
Succeding at making his nose longer/shorter, eye bigger, eyebrow bigger, etc in class
Knowing the christmas program at church is ready two weeks early
Being over a cold
Candles
Dvorak
Herbal Answer chapstick from Blixtex
Making $25 this coming weekend for moving some sound equipment, one hour job max and not hard
Paycheck coming tomorow, crv check today
a note on the nose breaking thing: I'm taking stage makeup this trimester and we have a list of projects we are supposed to do, such as make your nose look longer, look shorter, look crooked, look broken. I have done all the nose ones except broken. I still havn't gotten that down yet. Also we get to do such neat things as old age makeup, gore makeup, and a likeness. Haley did her first old age today and it was quite impressive. I'm going to have to shave completly though, eek! I'll have to do that this weekend because I'll have to have a picture made for the worksheets 'll have to do for the big projects and it needs to be clean shaven. Anyway, I've almost done all the projects I can do without shaving anyway. I dont think I will be happy shaven. Espically my upper lip, it sweats too much when I shave it.
I haven't been 100% bald-faced since I was a sophmore in highschool.
well, I checked on the web and the lowest price i found for a new usb cable for the coolpix 885 is $20, with $5 shipping and it'll take a week to get here. Ebay had two for $10 each with two days left on them and a number of bids on there, i put in $15, with $3 shipping that'll be a good price if I can get it.. I'll just keep borrowing other people's untill then. Or maybe Dr Chute will let me use the one with the extra camera untill I get a new one. I need to get these pics off that cam onto my computer. I hate macs.

I hate today. Yes. Very much am I having a bad day.
Wake up, want to go back to sleep but I can't since I have class. So I go to class. I'm feeling better than earlier in the week, getting over the cold. Get to class and find out the project for the week is due TODAY at 5pm and not THURSDAY. And then I chew a piece of gum to find out that OH MY GOODNESS IT HURTS TO CHEW THAT. So, I guess that explains why one of my teeth seems to have a deeper indention in it than the others, I guess my filling really IS coming out. I thought this might be the case a few months ago but had no further problems so I didn't get anything done with it because I really can't afford a dentist and my parent's health insurance does not cover such things. Bleh.... So, I get the name of a dentist from Shar (our secritary at the music building) and call him up, the only apointment that I can get is either tomorow when I have a class I can't miss or next wednesday. Later on Mrs Vail (see Sunday's post) got me an apointment with her dentist for friday at 9:30am. So at least thats just two days and not a week.
Well, that's one thing. There's also the horrid headache I have had all day that just seems to get worse.
Then I help out my friend Josh by taking his money to the water department so his water can get turned back on, while I was there I took some pictures at the park for my photography project which is due today at 5pm as I said earlier (that's the class I went to first thing this morning) and when I got done I drove off - realizing when I am almost home that I left the camera bag (small one) on the trunk, the only thing in that bag is the data cable for the digital camera. None of this equipment is mine - it's the school's, and I NEED the cable to get the pics off my camera to e-mail to the instructor!
Well, I back track and it's not there, someone has a brand new bag and datacable for a nikon coolpix 885, though I doubt they know what it even is.
Then I remember I hadn't turned in something for my acting class so I go back to school to do that and when I get to Tim's office he's using one of the coolpix cameras and has the cable out, I ask if I can borrow it momentarily, and he lets me, I take it to the business computer lab (the software for the cameras is on the computers in the theatre lab and the business lab, the theatre lab is closed and is also evil mac whatever those ugly wedgeshaped coloured ones are, I can't remember now) and I get the pics off the camera and e-mail them in, 4:30. YAY!
So... It's good and bad. I feel like poop the headache gets worse and worse. The tooth is only bad if I chew on it, other than that it's just a dull pain occasionaly which ibuprofin takes care of fairly well.
But bleah.
At least it's not as bad as Josh's life. This year has been aweful for him. His wife had a tumor that had to be removed, he had to drop out of school in the spring because of that, then a couple of months later she left him for someone else and kept rubbing it in his face. Then he had an accident and didn't get the car back for months because of the insurance company dragging their feet, and his grandmother died. The school has given him lots of trouble getting back in and all and he is strugglign very much financialy. So I guess my life is good in comparison.
But man my head hurts.

Random conversations concerning Mr Don's Potato gun (he's Mrs. Vail's husband, Don Vail):
Drew: What if we used these baked potatoes?
Someone: Well, I think it would just shoot out mush, and it might not shoot too far. But it would probably hurt if it hit you.
Me: If you left it in the foil that would be interesting, a big splut on whatever it hit. Haha.
Later on the same day:
Mrs Vail: I think drew should go out there and remove the rest of the toilet paper from my trees (We put it there well over two months ago, and drew is very tall, though not that tall.)
Drew: I can take care of that problem
Everyone: How? (Ok, not everyone at once, but it would be very theatrical)
Drew: Put a waterbaloon full of gas in the potato gun and shoot it at the top of the tree and then light the tree on fire.
Mrs. Vail: No...
Everyone: Awwwwwww, that's no fun Mrs. Vail! (see the above comment on "everyone")
Me: Actualy, I don't think that would work anyway, the baloon would probably burst inside the chamber and shoot out a blast of flame, or it would explode on exiting the chamber with some pretty fun but deadly results.
Today was pretty good:
I got a christmas tree
I got some new candles
Our concert at First Baptist (Carpenter's Wood, a contemporary ensemble I am in at my school) went great
(I made it through said concert even though I have an evil cold)
I got flirted with :D (see previous post)
On the downside:
I have an evil cold
I didn't make it through even two hymns leading the music tonight at church, I just had to direct and not sing and I hate doing that, because I love to sing.
So, the good pretty much outweighs the bad.
I got flirted with tonight! I was in walmart buying a christmas tree and stuff and I was looking at candles and this girl is there looking at candles also, and she's about my age I guess, and she is talking to me about all kinds of stuff and ya, it was kind of nice to be flirted with, doesnt happen often with me, so though there is no way anything that happened would ever go further than just being flirted with in the candle aisle at walmart, it was nice to have it happen. Ok, maybe i'm weird.
Klasinc&Loncar Duo (Just trying to help it get picked up by Google spiders, I maintain it for them)
