The passing from 2004-2005 has come and gone. It was spent playing cards with a couple of great friends and my sister. Great times.

New Years day was spent working. Blah. It was a painfuly slow day at the shop and I re-organized the back room. (That'll last all of two days... Actualy, I'm trying to see to it that it'll last longer. If we could get a little more storage space for long-term storage of things like extra boxes of cups. Just a little more space would help a LOT.)

Got home and got a call from my friend Lily in texas, I love talking to her. While I talked to her she shopped at walmart and I went through papers, organizing bank statements and paying bills. Missing one bank statement... I haven't balanced my checkbook or written anything down in it all month. I'm such a slacker.

Today I slept in because I was up messing with papers and such until 4 and then I lay in bed for a couple more hours without sleeping... Today I have done more organizing. I've gone through the stuff from school and organized music and notes and put them in an expanding file. I have a goodly number of other boxes of things I need to go through and find a place for soon. I need to get it all done before the end of January when my parents will be moving into their house and getting all the stuff from Alabama. I'll have a lot more stuff included in that mess. Yep.

The countdown to the trip to Louisiana is started. Just five days and we will be on the road. We're leaving on Friday and I plan to drive all day to New Orleans. We'll stay with Jason and Jennifer while there and go to the wedding on Saturday. Sunday we'll stay there also and then on Monday we will trek up to the Burg of Hattie to see folks there and find someone to stay with. Tuesday we will drive back home and go to choir rehearsal! Wheeee road trip!
