Met yesterday with Dr. Wyatt (the department chair) and sang for him and talked with him. We figured out that I would be able to be a full fledged masters student starting in January. We also set a tenative idea of what sort of class schedule I could have, trying for a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday schedule so I don't have to drive up every day.

Also found out that the choir will be going to New York this spring and the school pays for everything but the meals. We will be doing Menotti's The Unicorn,the Gorgon, and the Manticore, a collection of madrigals set with dance (20th century composition). Woo, fun!

He told me that normaly the program can be done in 3 semesters but I will likely have to wait a semester after that to have an ensemble that will be free for a recital. But I can deal with that.

Jan 11 I take the music history and theory diagnostc exams, Jan 12 I will be advised. Class starts Jan 16!
