So I was at a college choir concert at our church and in the middle of it my phone vibrated from two calls. It was my dad calling to tell me my grandmother (maternal, the one I live with) was in the hospital. I wondered why she hadn't been home since she left for her library thing this afternoon by the time I left the house at quarter after seven...
She'd passed out at the library thing and they are keeping her overnight for observation.
Fainting can be anything and can be very not serious, which I'm guessing it probably is. She's a very healthy woman to be in her mid 80s so I'm pretty sure it's nothing serious. Will know more tomorrw.
Celtic, Bluegrass, Blues, and Jazz. That's saturday night on NPR for me. It's a wonderful lineup. And with A Prairie Home Companion on beforehand, I could just sit at home and listen to NPR from 6pm until sometime in the wee morning hours.
