Dreams are odd... espically the one I had last night.

It involved me (obviously), my sister (the eldest), Skot, and another girl who I can not properly place but there are a few possibilities as to who she could be. We were on an island connected to the mainland by a pontoon bridge that was of pretty good length. We were in a moterhome and unidentified girl was driving. I had been to this island before and so had becca, the other two had not. We were on the island for a time and nothing of any note happened. When we decided to leave becca and I knew that mystery girl was taking the aproach to the bridge much too fast and told her so, but it was too late. We hit the first bit of the bridge and as is the nature of things that float the bridge was taking the shape of the waves beneath it. Our moterhome ramped off the first couple of pontoons and flew an amazing 20 feet into the air, hitting again (amazingly) dead on in the centre of the bridge. Again it ramped with an upswell of wave and as we came down about ten feet from shore the vehicle shifted about ten feet, missing the bridge and landing in the water, proceding to begin to sink. I urged everyone out of the vehicle and we (somehow) pushed the thing onto shore as it was sinking. We then collapsed and were inside a quasi-outside-inside building where people from my church lived, including the apparent owner of the moterhome, which we returned. That was the dream.

Wow.... May 17, 2003: The day Nick graduated! I now have a Bachelor of Music in Church Music with a concentration in Voice. Five years of hard work are behind me, five years of stress over, another chapter in my life has closed.

How does it feel? Overwhelming and relieving all at the same time... I have no idea what to do next or if I'll be able to make it in the real world. I also am glad the stress is over.

Of course, I am pretty certain that I can make it, even on my meager $480 a month that I make at the church, and I plan to look for a part time job that'll bring in even more. As for plans? I plan to get started at USM either in the spring or the fall after next (‘04) in the library science program there. So I do have a vision. And I will live.

What have I done since I graduated? Well, I have done a lot of nothing and have enjoyed it! The Thursday after finals I went to Mt. Olive with Mike to the reformed bookstore and got a few sermons to read. Friday I went to New Orleans and hung out with my friends there. Saturday? I graduated!

Now... Saturday night was interesting, to say the least! After packing Becca and moving her out and seeing her and my parents off, I went with Josh and Alma to Biloxi to see Octagon play at a bar there. We got there at 9 like the band was supposed to, they were supposed to play about 11. However... Some bands were late and the first band didn't start till after 10. It was 4am before Octagon actually PLAYED, to an audience of 8 (three with the band, three bar employees, and two others.) because everyone had work or left because they had to stop selling drinks at 2am as per the law. So we got back to the ‘Burg by 6am.... Josh had to take Alma to New Orleans for her flight to Bosnia by 8:45... I had church at 11. So... we didn't sleep much!

Now I'm at my parents's house for a few days.
