Wow.... May 17, 2003: The day Nick graduated! I now have a Bachelor of Music in Church Music with a concentration in Voice. Five years of hard work are behind me, five years of stress over, another chapter in my life has closed.

How does it feel? Overwhelming and relieving all at the same time... I have no idea what to do next or if I'll be able to make it in the real world. I also am glad the stress is over.

Of course, I am pretty certain that I can make it, even on my meager $480 a month that I make at the church, and I plan to look for a part time job that'll bring in even more. As for plans? I plan to get started at USM either in the spring or the fall after next (‘04) in the library science program there. So I do have a vision. And I will live.

What have I done since I graduated? Well, I have done a lot of nothing and have enjoyed it! The Thursday after finals I went to Mt. Olive with Mike to the reformed bookstore and got a few sermons to read. Friday I went to New Orleans and hung out with my friends there. Saturday? I graduated!

Now... Saturday night was interesting, to say the least! After packing Becca and moving her out and seeing her and my parents off, I went with Josh and Alma to Biloxi to see Octagon play at a bar there. We got there at 9 like the band was supposed to, they were supposed to play about 11. However... Some bands were late and the first band didn't start till after 10. It was 4am before Octagon actually PLAYED, to an audience of 8 (three with the band, three bar employees, and two others.) because everyone had work or left because they had to stop selling drinks at 2am as per the law. So we got back to the ‘Burg by 6am.... Josh had to take Alma to New Orleans for her flight to Bosnia by 8:45... I had church at 11. So... we didn't sleep much!

Now I'm at my parents's house for a few days.
