Interesting times, eh!
I've been training Will at work. Will is the husband of one of my long-time friends who I have known since I was like 8 or 9 and they were moving back into town and he needed a work. Seems like he's going to catch on fast.
I forgot how training someone wears my voice out -- I'm not used to talking all day.
And in realizing that I'm training my replacement I realize that in 12 days I'll be starting class! And in 8 days I'll be taking the diagnostic exam!
Also today I got an e-mail from the Augusta Opera and they're planning a viewing party for a video of our fall show, Man of La Mancha at the end of the month so that should be fun. In the same e-mail it was mentioned that the Metropolitan Opera simulcast at the local movie theatre on the 13th of this month will be "The First Emperor" a new opera by Tan Dun (Composer of the soundtrack for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) and staring Domingo! Awesomeness!
