Daniel Jackson, of all people, should know how to say, "Myrddin" yet in the first episode of this season of SG-1 and in tonights episode he inisists on pronouncing it wrong. He says "mir-din" when it should be more "mir-thin", in Welsh the dd is a voiced dental non-sibilant fricative, not a voiced alveolar plosive.
Of course I didn't know those terms right off the top of my head (short of the voiced fricative and plosive part) I had to look it up on Wikipedia. I did know that the difference was fricative vs. plosive, though because I'm a geek.
